* Remote IT Networking & Security Specialist (Full-Time)

Location: Remote | Department: IT & Cybersecurity | Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about secure infrastructure, network optimization, and protecting digital environments? We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Remote IT Networking & Security Specialist to help strengthen and safeguard our clients.

What You’ll Do:

  • -Help our clients to secure network systems (LAN/WAN/VPN).
  • -Configure firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
  • -Administer and support cloud-based network infrastructure.
  • -Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulations.
  • -Create and maintain network documentation and security protocols.

What You Bring:

  • -A minimum of 1 years of experience in IT networking or cybersecurity roles.
  • -Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, and firewalls.
  • -Experience with tools such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar.
  • -Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and MFA.
  • -Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • -Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
  • -Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, Network+, CCNA, or equivalent.

Job Title: Freelance Cybersecurity Specialist
Location: Must be living in Riyadh City KSA

Contract Type: Freelance / Project-Based
Reports To: Security Lead / Client Representative

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Freelance Cybersecurity Penetration Tester to assess and strengthen the security posture of our clients digital assets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and reporting, with a strong understanding of current cyber threats and mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • -Conduct penetration tests on web applications, networks, APIs, and mobile platforms.
  • -Identify vulnerabilities and simulate real-world attacks to evaluate system resilience.
  • -Document findings with detailed technical reports and executive summaries.
  • -Collaborate with internal teams to recommend remediation strategies.
  • -Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and techniques.
  • -Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • -Proven experience in ethical hacking and penetration testing.
  • -Proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Wireshark, and Kali Linux.
  • -Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and application security.
  • -Cybersecurity certifications are highly desirable.
  • -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • -Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Deliverables:

  • -Comprehensive penetration test report.
  • -Risk assessment and prioritization.
  • -Remediation recommendations.
  • -Final presentation to stakeholders.
